| Company History |
 Brothers Richard and Lee Gac formed what was to become AMERICARE-NATIONAL on July 4, 1990. At first, the fledgling company operated out of a 10' x 20' self-storage garage. On June 1, 1991, we purchased the New Way Sanitation Company and formed a corporation. It was not long before we moved to a small office in Benseville, and, later to a 3,000 square foot warehouse in Wood Dale.
We purchase our current world headquarters building in Addison on June 1, 1998 - exactly seven years from the date of incorporation.
Continuously growing, we purchased the Clean-Way Chemical Corporation (1994), began to franchise route technicians (1995), and purchased our largest competitor, National Hygiene (1999), an offshoot of the legendary Lien Chemical Company.
Today, thanks to the support of our many loyal clients, AMERICARE-NATIONAL has become the largest, most successful restroom and kitchen hygiene specialist company in Chicagoland.
 In large measure, we attribute this achievement to the hard work and dedication of our associates and franchisees. Our first route technician, Jerry Fryer, and his wife Pam are very special friends and official Associate partners. Moreover, nothing would have been possible without the patience and understanding of the founder's wives, Terri and Marilyn, and children Jessica, R.J., Jason and Nathan. (Terri conceived of the company name as a reflection of an ongoing concern for the cleanliness and ecology of our country.)
Most importantly, we believe that our success proves that it is still possible to achieve the American Dream. And we look forward to an even brighter future, as the AMERICARE-NATIONAL family of clients and dedicated associates continues to grow. |
